BACCC is seeking a college/district to host the Public Safety Regional Director.

This position will represent all Bay Area Public Safety Programs in Federal, State and Regional conversations related to regulation, policy and practice. The position will assist Bay Area Community Colleges with Public Safety programs with the implementation of new regulations, and promote professional development and the scaling of best practices across the region. The position will be autonomous from the college or district so as to serve the region, but will include the interests of the host college or district. In working with the Public Safety Stakeholder group it is recommended that the host college or district consider this a contract position. Interested colleges/districts should complete the form linked below by March 1, 2022. Submissions will be managed by Holly Bow at on behalf of the Public Safety RJV.

NOTE: BACCC representatives of Public Safety will rank LOI’s according to the district or college’s ability to serve regional public safety needs. If there is more than one LOI submitted, those interested in hosting will be asked to submit a more complete application.
