BACCC Governance

Each of BACCC’s 28 colleges appoints a representative to BACCC. The college reps and other stakeholders meet monthly. All decisions about the allocation of regional funds are made by vote of the member colleges. Votes are cast by the college CEO or designee.

There are a number of ways to get involved and participate in BACCC guidance & governance:

  • Know your college’s leadership! Regionwide investments and initiatives are informed by our region’s CTE Leadership Group, comprised of the CEO, CIO, CTE Dean and a CTE Faculty from each of the 28 colleges. Investment decisions are made via 1 vote per college, requiring a ⅔ (19 colleges) vote in favor for decisions to pass. Sharing your ideas and opinions with your college’s leadership will help guide their votes

  • Become familiar with and consider joining and/or leading a Regional Joint Venture. RJVs are our regions mechanism for encouraging cross-college / cross-systems collaboration and investments around positively impacting the Strong Workforce Program metrics and delivering on the goals outlined in our Regional Plan (see 1 above). Review a list of RJVs at rjv.baccc.net and consider joining existing and/or leading future RJVs
