Providing Educators With Resources & Opportunities
The BayICT Partnership offers workforce development administrators, ICT department chairs, and lead faculty access to employers, industry, and community workforce development partners. We encourage you to join and play a curious, active-listener role. When employers are heard and see the results, they are more confident in providing students with work experience and jobs.
Opportunities for the region’s ICT faculty to connect, talk, and share are rare, often limited to annual professional development events. Participant surveys from those events often rate the informal social connection as high as the workshops. BayICT supports a Bay Area ICT Digital Media faculty Community of Practice to create a similar space, not only to facilitate connection but also a place to get news, share resources, solve problems, and propose change.
