About BayICT
Who We Are
The BayICT Partnership is a collaboration between Bay Area community colleges, tech companies, and community organizations united under the common goal of creating a diverse and locally-grown tech workforce.
What We Do
Strengthen collaboration between the tech industry and our member colleges.
Support the preparation of our students through work-based learning.
Connect our college faculty with industry experts and resources.
Connect our employer partners with a talent pipeline.
Current Projects
Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics (AIDA) technologies are a cornerstone of current systems design and implementation. Our goal is to help match the ever increasing labor demand with industry supported community college efforts, creating model curriculum and providing professional development.
Using their 40% CTE Enhancement Fund, Bay Area Community Colleges joined together to establish a remotely shared information and communication technologies (ICT) lab facility to serve their ICT students who need hands-on skills demanded by ICT employers.
This project is intended to support the creation and implementation of a Regional Virtual Production Academy by defining virtual production model curriculum using existing courses and certificates and delivering a suite of collaborative credentials including stackable certificates, an associate degree, and possibly a baccalaureate degree.
Bay Cyber’s Mission is to help students, and by extension, our communities, become safer technology users and guide them towards a career in Information Technology/ Cybersecurity.
